BRAMPTON, ONTARIO — September 3, 2026 — Brampton's own Cairo Snow FPTO, a 13-year-old rapper, singer and songwriter, has reached another major milestone in what has already been a breakthrough year.

Cairo officially finished first out of 45 artists in the fan-voted Round 1 of the Orbiiit Global Search 2026, advancing into the Top 20 of his group for Round 2.

The achievement adds to a growing list of accomplishments for the young Canadian-Jamaican artist, whose 2026 has already included a Mic Madness victory, a CNE Rising Star semi-final appearance, and a feature on a City of Toronto FIFA World Cup song.

Team Cairo Supporters Being Asked to Keep Voting

Cairo's supporters, known collectively as Team Cairo, played an important role in helping him finish first in the opening round.

Now that Round 2 is underway, his team is encouraging supporters to keep voting, sharing and helping spread the word as Cairo attempts to advance even further in the competition.

The campaign has also introduced a supporter-rewards program designed to grow as Cairo advances.

At the Top 20 – Round 2 level, eligible supporters can receive opportunities involving McDonald's and Booster Juice vouchers.

If Cairo reaches the Top 10, the rewards increase to exclusive Cairo Snow merchandise.

At the Top 5, one supporter could receive a pair of concert tickets to a concert of their choice in 2027.

If Cairo reaches the Top 3, the reward becomes two Canada's Wonderland season passes, while reaching the Top 2 could unlock two passes to Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles.

A separate grand prize is expected to be announced later.

Separate $5,000 Orbiiit Opportunity

Cairo's campaign also includes a separate opportunity connected to the official Orbiiit Global Search.

According to the press release, eligible voters participating through the competition may have a chance to win $5,000 cash and a Global Showcase VIP trip for two.

That prize is separate from the Team Cairo rewards campaign.

A Breakthrough Year for Cairo Snow

Cairo's first-place finish comes during a year filled with major achievements.

Earlier in 2026, Cairo won Mic Madness, an international online song competition featuring artists from around the world.

The competition involved industry figures including Rel Carter, described in the release as Jay-Z's nephew and a Roc Nation-connected industry executive, as well as Chris Tyson, whose work includes collaborations with artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone and Lil Nas X.

Cairo's Mic Madness victory earned him a $10,000 scholarship, an all-expenses-paid trip to New York, and studio opportunities connected to the competition.

For a 13-year-old artist still early in his career, the accomplishment demonstrated his ability to compete on an international stage.

CNE Rising Star Semi-Finalist

Cairo has also advanced to the semi-finals of the CNE Rising Star talent competition, giving him another opportunity to showcase his live performance abilities before Canadian audiences.

His continued success across multiple competitions suggests that his momentum is not limited to online fan voting alone.

He is also building experience through live performances, music releases and industry opportunities.

Featured in City of Toronto FIFA World Cup Song

Another major moment came through a collaboration connected to Toronto's FIFA World Cup celebrations.

Cairo was featured on a song commissioned by the City of Toronto celebrating the city's role as a FIFA World Cup host city.

The project also included Alan Frew of Glass Tiger, giving Cairo another opportunity to work alongside an established Canadian musician.

The collaboration represents another step in his development as an artist moving between music, community projects and larger public events.

Radio Airplay in Nine Countries

Cairo's music has also begun reaching audiences internationally.

According to his management team, his songs have received radio airplay in nine countries, including Canada, Brazil, Sweden, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, the United States and St. Lucia.

His professional music career began in January 2025 with the release of his debut single, "FPTO."

In a relatively short period, Cairo has moved from releasing his first professional single to winning competitions, appearing on international radio, performing on Canadian stages and competing in a global artist search.

From Brampton to a Growing International Audience

Cairo's team describes him as part of a new generation of Canadian talent focused on discipline, artistry, positive messaging and genuine connection with supporters.

Rather than depending only on viral attention, his career has been developed through music releases, radio, live performances, community involvement and international opportunities.

His first-place finish in Round 1 of the Orbiiit Global Search is another step in that journey.

But the competition is far from over.

Round 2 is now underway, and Team Cairo is again being asked to help keep the momentum going.

Vote. Share. Support. Repeat.

The more Cairo advances, the bigger the opportunities become — both for the young artist and for the supporters helping him along the way.
